Our take
I tested the GTMEDIA Game Mate 173 and found the 144Hz refresh rate smooth for gaming. The 100% sRGB color gamut provides vibrant colors, but the 300 nits brightness is a bit low. The 8ms response time is not ideal for competitive gaming, but for casual play it's fine. I appreciate the built-in speakers and headphone jack. The monitor is lightweight and portable. At $199.99, it's a decent option, though the slower response time holds it back.
